What is the Eternity’s Values Project?
The Eternity’s Values Project is a call to people everywhere to look at life from the perspective of eternity as understood from the Holy Bible and to live by the values taught to us by Him who is from everlasting to everlasting.
There is a universal human aspiration to live forever. As C.S. Lewis said “If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.” Here’s the truth: we were made for another world! We were made by and for someone. That Someone is God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Who is and was and is to come.
Eternity’s values are expressions of what is important to God in terms of worth, principles and behavior. Living with eternity’s values in view means becoming imitators of God, as beloved children. We learn what is important to God from His book, the Holy Bible.
Why has The Eternity’s Values Project
been initiated?
Because “God has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation…We implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.”
Eternity’s Values Project (EVP) will use the phrase “Live With Eternity’s Values in View” as a brand to awaken people to an eternal calling to be reconciled to God by believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and by living with a biblical worldview.
Since the phrase is non-confrontational it will appeal to people everywhere. For people who do not know Jesus it will be the beginning of an inquiry into the Christian faith by posing a question such as: “What shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
For Christians it will draw attention to the way we live in light of eternity. “Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”
Eternity’s Values Project will use every means available to convince people to take a closer look at what really matters in life, which is to be conformed to the image of Jesus. EVP will unequivocally affirm the Holy Bible as the source of eternal values.
How will Eternity’s Values Project be implemented?
Individuals will begin to use Eternity’s Values Contact Cards to help others consider the implications of eternity.
Businesses will adopt the practice of using Eternity’s Values Contact Card images on their existing business cards.
IN VIEW Magazine will be published regularly and will bring news and information from many sources that help us take a closer look at what really matters.
Eternity’s Values Seminars for Churches and Schools.
One of our team members will present our Living With Eternity’s Values in View Seminar at your location. We will teach you how to use Eternity’s Values to lead people to reconciliation with God.
